Kundalini yoga helps us understand the subtle nature of the chakras (energy centers) within the body. Chakras are considered our "generator system" and when we practice bringing them into alignment it has the potential to change our world. Kundalini yoga is a combination of breath, movement, and sound. It derives from the Sanskrit word kundal, which translates to “coiled energy.” The idea is that we all have energy gathered at the base of our spine and, through the practice of Kundalini, we bring that energy up our spine through the seven chakras, and out the crown of our head.

Healing through Movement

With regular practice, Kundalini yoga heals your nervous system, strengthens your immune system, improves your focus, breaks unhealthy patterns and connects you to your higher consciousness thereby allowing you to take back your power. What we are trying to achieve is mastery of the mind, to make the mind sharper, clearer, and more useful than before. Kundalini yoga helps you gain greater control over your own life.
